£166,666 Postcode Lottery Winner Feeling Rather Sheepish

Julie WIlson-Homewood from Barnham in West Sussex, England has won a £166,666 Postcode Lottery prize. There’s lots of items the lucky player could buy but first of all, she wants to purchase some sheep.

Why? Well the Postcode Lottery winner has a daughter Torie owns a wool-based clothing business. Buying her some sheep will allow her to expand her business. Buying some land is also being considered and a move to Scotland is a possibility for Torie.

Jonas from Moreton in the Wirral on Merseyside, England,  used some of his £320,000 Postcode Lottery win to become a beekeeper.

Double the win

The Barnham resident had two Postcode Lottery tickets so that doubled her winnings to £166,666.

Julie is planning some treats for herself and her husband Paul, who retires in the new year. Trips to Norway to see the Northern Lights and travelling around the Scottish Highlands are on their way with Shetland also on her bucket list.

A luxury car isn’t going to be purchased as she loves her current one. It needs some work done on it so this win will help pay for that.

Her neighbour Diane Daughtrey was even luckier. Her three Postcode Lottery tickets produced a total win of £249,999. The Postcode Lottery winner had just got back home from working a night shift for National Rail until 5.30 am when being presented with her fantastic cheque.

Quite happy with £1,000

The mother-of-two said she’d have been “quite happy to win £1,000” just as she has in the past. It was that win that prompted her to buy two more Postcode Lottery tickets.

Work will now be carried on her house thanks to this win. Her daughter and son will also be given treats. Diane is due to be going to Singapore next March so now she has plenty of spending money for that trip.

There was no time for celebrations though as another night shift loomed:  “I’ll be thinking about this all night long, that's for sure,” she joked.
