Will Lottery Players Have a Prosperous Weekend?

It’s going to be a massive weekend for lottery players. Will it be a profitable one though? The EuroMillions, Mega Millions and Powerball  jackpots have continued to rollover this week. Hopefully, the weekend will see at least one big winner, why not three?

Let’s start on this side of the Atlantic and this evening’s EuroMillions draw. There was another rollover on Tuesday which means tonight’s draw has a £166 million (€198 million) jackpot. Could a ticket purchased from Lottery24 win the top prize?

€200 million jackpot on the way?

A rollover this evening will see the jackpot go through the €200 million barrier for next Tuesday’s draw. It would be only the ninth time that magical number has been reached.

A few more rollovers and we could even see the maximum €250 million jackpot be seen for the first time. The current EuroMillions record win is the €240 million won by a ticket sold in Austria in December 2023.

Stateside success this weekend?

Over to the USA now and this evening’s Mega Millions draw has a $324 million jackpot. The top prize in this lottery has only been won once this year. That was in the January 25 draw when a ticket sold in Arizona won $112 million.

The jackpot in this lottery has only been won in March twice in the past five years. 12 months ago, a New Jersey ticket landed the incredible $1.12 billion Mega Millions top prize.

Saturday’s Powerball draw has a fantastic $444 million jackpot. Just like the Mega Millions lottery, there has only been one jackpot winner so far in 2025. That came in January when a Powerball ticket sold in Oregon was lucky enough to win $328.5 million.

On Wednesday, players were unable to match 08-11-21-49-59 and the Powerball 15. Two tickets only just missed out on winning the jackpot and both made their owners lottery millionaires.

Let’s hope that the run of rollovers comes to an end in the next few days. It’d be great to start next week by reporting some massive jackpot wins.
