Will a Ticket Win the Fourth Largest EuroMillions Jackpot Tomorrow?
One of the largest ever EuroMillions jackpots will be up for grabs tomorrow evening. After another rollover in Friday’s draw, Tuesday’s top prize will be €213 million (£180 million). Perhaps a ticket purchased from Lottery24 will win this life-changing amount?
This fantastic jackpot is the fourth-largest ever EuroMillions jackpot. It goes ahead of the €210 million that was won by a ticket sold in Switzerland three years ago. €220 million was the amazing prize that was also won in 2021. That ticket was sold on the Pacific island of Tahiti.
Two of the current four largest wins came from the UK. Jess and Joe Thwaite from Gloucester, England won £184.7 million (€215 million) on the EuroMillions and earlier in 2021 an anonymous player from the UK landed a £195.7 million €230 million) jackpot.
Chasing the record
The all-time record is still held by the Austrian winner of €240 million in December of last year. That record could be under threat though. The jackpot cap has risen to its maximum €250 million and that could be reached this week.
Friday’s draw was one for players who love using low numbers. The five main numbers drawn were: 03-04-07-11-17 and the two Lucky Stars 07 and 12. No tickets were able to match the seven balls to match the €195.7 million (£164 million) top prize.
Near misses
There were some players that were close to becoming multi-millionaires. 14 tickets matched the five main balls but just one of the Lucky Stars. One of the second-tier winning tickets was sold in the UK and won its owner(s) £165,658,649.
Seven of the tickets that matched five numbers and one Lucky Star were sold in France. Four were purchased in Spain and one each in Portugal and Belgium. Each winning ticket won €86,983.14.
Will we see the jackpot won on Tuesday? The top prize in the EuroMillions draw hasn’t been won since the draw held on May 14. That’s when a ticket that had been purchased in France won a fantastic €48.7 million.
