Will 2025 Bring You a Big Lottery Win?
An exciting year lies ahead for lottery players. Perhaps 2025 will be when a ticket purchased from Lottery24 wins you a big prize?
Countdown to El Niño
The excitement gets underway on January 6 when the traditional El Niño draw is being held in Spain. It has an incredible prize fund of €770 million.
Last year saw Malaga have plenty to celebrate in the El Niño draw. Who will be successful in 2025? The draw ties in with the day when the Three Kings visited the baby Jesus in Bethlehem. It has a top prize of €2 million and each tenth purchased produces a win of €200,000 before tax.
Christmas surprise
Christmas Day is usually one on which there can be some big surprises. You’ll have to go some to top the surprise Taylor Caffrey from Iowa, USA received.
There are a lot of traditions surrounding Christmas and that helped win Taylor a $150,000 lottery prize. Her mother always puts lottery tickets in her family’s stockings and in 2024 it produced a fantastic win.
The 25-year-old couldn’t believe her eyes when the Money Gift scratchcard won her $150,000. The lucky winner says it’s the largest win there’s been for any family member who has received a Christmas ticket. Plans for her windfall include buying a home and paying off her college debt.
Fairyland
Already celebrating a big lottery win are a couple from Dunedin in New Zealand. They won a $4.3 million NZ Powerball jackpot on December 28 and say they’re still in “fairyland.”
They also didn’t buy their winning lottery ticket. It had been given to them as a gift by a family member. At first the female half of the couple thought their lottery ticket had only matched three numbers. Then her husband took a look and realised that they’d actually scooped the jackpot.
Just like recent $4.8 million Set for Life winners, they had a sleepless night. They plan on upgrading their car and treating their children and grandchildren.
