What a Week for £1m UK Lotto Winners Christine and Nick

Christine and Nick Jane from Launceston in North Cornwall, England, are still recovering from the greatest week of their lives. They won £1 million in the October 15 UK Lotto draw and then got married the following week.

Their UK Lotto ticket successfully matched five of the main balls and the Bonus Ball to win them £1 million. It was the first time they’d played the draw in a while. Then one of Nick’s work colleagues said that a ticket should be bought for the next draw. Little did Nick know how one ticket would change everything in his life and that of his partner too.

The couple have been together for a couple of years and between them have six grown-up children from previous relationships. It was the morning after the UK Lotto draw that Christine, 50, discovered their amazing win.

She knew her Lucky Dip ticket had won something but had no idea how much. Only when going to a local shop with her stepson did she discover it had won £1 million.

Nick, 55, was still working at the time and didn’t find out about the win until returning home. One of their daughters asked Nick what he’d do if he ever won £1 million. He wasn’t sure how to reply and was dumbstruck when the news of their UK Lotto win was revealed.

That was the start of a fantastic time for the UK Lotto winning couple. The following week they enjoyed a “magical day” when finally getting married. For Christine it saw her marrying the man of her dreams. Not just that but she knows that their future is secure.

Not everyone who attended their wedding knew the happy couple had just become millionaires. Christine recalled that she “was so close to telling everyone at the wedding” and doesn’ know how she “kept it quiet.”

Plans for their £1 million UK Lotto win include buying themselves a new house but won’t be moving away.They also want to help some of their friends and relatives.
