WESTERN AUSTRALIAN SUBURB SEES SECOND LOTTO JACKPOT WIN IN WEEKS
A northern suburb just outside of Perth in Western Australia has been showered with Division 1 Lotto luck for the second time in the space of a month.Earlier this month Clarkson, the northern Perth suburb, saw a man win $1 million on the Wednesday Lotto and now another Clarkson man, a tradesman, son $443,884 on the Saturday Lotto. You may think that Clarkson seems to be the place to be, but a store in New Zealand was previously labelled ‘lucky’ after selling
two winning tickets for the same New Zealand Lotto draw. The lucky winner told lottery officials how he checked his winnings numbers in the newspaper, and didn’t know what to do with himself when he realised he’d won. A couple from Collie, also near Perth, recently
won a top Australian Lotto prize for the second time in less than a year.“I just kept pacing around the room, not knowing what to do with myself,” he said, explaining that he has been playing the lottery for 28 years but never experienced a win like this Saturday Lotto fortune. “My entry had two of my favourite numbers - my nanna and mum’s birthdays,” he said, explaining that this particular ticket had him feeling lucky. Another lucky Australian winner was a couple from Gosnels, Western Australia, who
won two $1 million lottery prizes in two years.“I told my mum I had a good feeling about this one and when I found out I had won, I couldn’t wait to tell her the news.” The Saturday Lotto winner continued to say that he is excited to see the money appear in his bank account, as he doesn’t think that the reality of his good fortune will sink in until then.Once it does sink in, however, the Clarkson man has big plans for his Saturday Lotto winnings, including buying a new house to do up and sell on. “I’ve got some friends who buy, renovate and sell on property as their full-time jobs. Who knows, maybe I’ll give it a crack,” he said. A man from Tappen in British Columbia, Canada, planned to build himself his own home
after winning on the Lotto 649.Before he quite jumps in at the deep end, however, the tradesman said that he’ll use some of the Saturday Lotto winnings to buy himself some new tools, and he plans to treat himself as well. “I’ll go on my first overseas holiday since I was a kid,” he said. A syndicate of Irish Lotto players from Galway were all planning overseas trips and even first class air travel after they
shared a jackpot worth over €8 million. To discover how a big win makes you feel, purchase your tickets online at Lottery24.com.
