UK ticket wins £109.9m EuroMillions Superdraw Jackpot

Friday February 4 saw the £109.9m EuroMillions Superdraw won by a UK ticket holder. The lucky winner(s) has yet to come forward and claim their prize.

This was the first EuroMillions Superdraw of 2022. It’s the first EuroMillions jackpot won by a UK ticket holder since August of last year.  On that occasion though, the amount won was only £18.2m.

There were five EuroMillions jackpot successes for UK ticket holders last year. Two of them won over £100m, the highest win being £122.5m in April 2021.

Near Misses

Friday’s EuroMillions draw also produced success for several other players. There were over 3.51m winners and nine won the second-tier prize. They each matched the five main balls but only one Lucky Star. Five tickets were sold in the UK, each winning £108,811.40. Two were sold in France, one in Spain and the other in Austria, all scooping €151,236.00.

The numbers drawn on Friday were: 03-25-38-43-49 and the two Lucky Stars 03 and 07. Such a selection confirms one fact at least. The successful selection was not made by someone using birthdays and anniversaries for their numbers.

Amazing night

Andy Carter is the senior winners’ adviser at the National Lottery. He was delighted at the win. “What an amazing night for a single UK ticket-holder who has scooped tonight's whopping £109.9 million special EuroMillions Super Jackpot.”

With no winner so far coming forward, he had advice for those who took part in the draw. “Players are urged to check their tickets and give us a call if they think they are tonight's lucky winner,” he said. The winner has 180 days to claim their EuroMillions winnings.

This is the 115^th EuroMillions jackpot won by a UK ticket holder. That puts them just two wins behind the current record holders France. It’s a fair way behind the record EuroMillions win for a UK player. That was £170m won three years ago but the winner(s) remained anonymous.

The next EuroMillions draw takes place on Tuesday February 8. Players will be trying to win the jackpot of £14m.
