Triple Lottery Joy for Canadian Lotto Max Player
Most people would be glad if they won one major Lotto Max prize. Vincent Charlemagne from Ontario, Canada recently celebrated his third big win with over $31 million being won in total.
The Thornhill resident first had lottery success back in August 2013. He was lucky enough to win a $30 million Lotto Max jackpot. Despite being a multi-millionaire, Charlemagne continued to play lottery games.
In 2021, he struck lucky again and won a $1 million Lotto Max Maxmillions prize. Then in August of this year, he was a winner again, this time landing a $100,000 Lotto Max prize. No wonder he’s on record as saying he’ll play lottery games “forever.”
Speaking after his most recent Lotto Max win, he said: ““I am happy and comfortable. I definitely won’t be working anymore.”
A couple of bucks
The serial lottery winner was working as a self-employed contractor when he became a multi-millionaire in 2013. When he scanned his ticket and found out it was a winner, he admits “I didn’t think it was real” but initially thought he’d only won “ a couple of bucks.” A second glance revealed his jackpot win.
He nearly made a mistake that cost him his win as he signed the back of his ticket ‘Tony’ not ‘Vincent.’ A prize claim review was held but he was allowed to keep his winnings.
A new home and car was bought with his winnings. He also paid a visit to St Lucia where he originally lived. Bill and Cath Mullarkey moved to St Lucia after their £1 million EuroMillions win.
Again?
Eight years later he won another $1 million. He recalled telling his wife the great news and with a big smile on her face, she said: “Again?”
Then his latest win came in August and he was excited when the ‘Big Winner’ message came up on the screen. When his son was told the news of his third win, he couldn’t believe what had happened. Maybe a fourth win is just around the corner?
