Tears Aplenty for Postcode Lottery Winners
Tears Aplenty for Postcode Lottery Winners
Just three weeks after resuming playing the Postcode Lottery, a player from Pensnett in the West Midlands region of England, has won £90,909. He was one of 11 players who shared a £1 million prize this month.
Caring Winner
It was an emotional win for Myke who stopped playing the Postcode Lottery four years ago. At that time he was caring for his terminally ill father and finances were tight. He had a tough time and also lost his step-mother Kelly to cancer two years ago.
He is still caring for his father and Myke was looking forward to enjoying a celebratory steak and whiskey with him later that evening.
Finally, a new van
His next-door neighbour is Roger and he’s also won £90,909. He wants to buy a new van with his Postcode Lottery winnings. Earlier this year he was scammed when buying one and he admits “it’s been a huge worry.”
Perhaps just £1,000 or £2,000?
Another of the £90,909 Postcode Lottery winners is Emily and she was also rather emotional. It’s been a difficult year for her as she lost her younger brother, Pauly, earlier this year. “I think Pauly’s sent this to me,” said the emotional winner.
It was four months ago that Emily first started playing the Postcode Lottery. When told she’d had a win, she thought “maybe £1,000 or £2,000” but never imagined it would be a lot more than that.
The Postcode Lottery winner now wants to get on the property ladder. Thinking of her late brother, she wants to get him a headstone. A “big Caribbean cruise” with her mother is also on her spending list.
