Search for $1.7m Lotto Winner Continues
The search continues to find the lucky Lotto winner of $1.7m. The Tatts Lotto jackpot was won in the December 29 draw. The winning ticket matched 02-09-17-30-33-39 to win $1,764,705.89, one of 17 tickets that did so. One of the other winners was a syndicate of 15 work colleagues who purchased their winning ticket from Ocean Grove Tatts & Cards. The winning ticket from Canberra, Australia is an unregistered one. Shocked Store Owner Hopes for Local Win
Vir Krishna Gorgia is the owner of the store that sold the winning ticket. He’s delighted to have done so and said he “simply could not believe the news” when he first found out. Since learning that he’d sold the winning ticket he’s decorated his shop with balloons and posters.Mr Gorgia says most of his customers are “local, everyday customers” so hopefully one of them is the big Tatts Lotto winner. He added: “We wish our winner a big congratulations. They’re going to have a happy new year when they find out.”
