Special Delivery for £111,111 Postcode Lottery Winner

Postwoman Melanie Granger from Keighley in West Yorkshire, England is planning holidays in the Caribbean and America thanks to a £111,111 Postcode Lottery win.

Her turn

Considering her job, the lucky player knows just how many postcodes there are in the UK. “There’s that many you just think it’ll never happen,” said Melanie. In 2020, she delivered five golden envelopes and each contained a £1,000 cheque. Now it’s been her turn to receive news of a Postcode Lottery windfall but  a considerably larger one.

Return trips to the Caribbean New York are now being planned. They should deliver plenty of joy to the lucky player. Also planned is buying a new iPad and the rest of her winnings will be saved.

Motorbike adventure

Another £111,111 Postcode Lottery winner was Michael Whitaker and he’s now planning a Scandinavian motorbike adventure in Norway and Sweden on his Triumph 900. At first, he thought his win was only £11,000 but then he realised it was for a lot more than that.

Speaking about his plans for his win, Michael declared: “I want to go more adventuring. I want to get out there, I want to see places, I want to go places."

The delighted winner is a clerk of works building inspector. The day he received his cheque he was due to attend a work meeting. Luckily his boss was overjoyed to hear of his reason for not attending the meeting.

Off to Walt Disney World

Sanna Babar also won a £111,111 Postcode Lottery prize and is also going to head to America. She was due to be going to Disneyland Paris but now it’ll be a trip stateside to Walt Disney World with her husband and two daughters.

Tony Labruna from Bristol, England  won a £800,000 Postcode Lottery prize.  He bought his first passport so he could travel abroad.

"I was trying to save up money, but I don't need to do that now, " said Sanna. Her parents may also go to Walt Disney World with her for an unforgettable holiday.
