Sleepless Night for $1.4 million TattsLotto Winner

If you find out you’ve won a $1.4 million TattsLotto prize, a good night’s sleep isn’t usually on the cards. It wasn’t the case for the player from Balywn North in Melbourne, Australia.

The lucky player had won a total of $1,428,571.43 in the February 26 TattsLotto draw. Six other tickets also scooped that amount in the draw. The other winners probably also had a rather sleepless night when finding out their wins.

The player in Balwyn North hadn’t purchased a registered ticket. That meant the lottery couldn’t contact him. They didn’t have long to wait though to find out that he was one of the winners.

No sleep

He’d checked his TattsLotto ticket just before going to bed on the evening of the draw. “Oh boy, that was a mistake,” he joked. “I couldn’t sleep at all. I was awake all night just thinking about the win and what I could do.”

The TattsLotto winner say that his success is “truly a dream come true.” Such was his excitement at finding out about his good luck he was even ill.

He’s been playing TattsLotto for around eight or nine years. His previous best win was $10,000. He says that to win a million dollars “is next level. It can do so much for my family.”

A new home

Plans for his win include buying a new home for his family. The TattsLotto winner has been wanting to do that for a fair while. Now he can make his dreams come true.  A family celebration is also being planned for the near future. The numbers that made him a millionaire were: 03-07-16-23-26-34.

His winning ticket was purchased from the Wandong Post News & Tatts. That’s owned by Bhavik Barot who is delighted to hear the big win has been claimed. His customers had been asking if the winner had come forward.

Mr Barot says that “We can just imagine this win will go a long way for the winner and their family, especially after dealing with the pandemic.
