Third Superdraw of the year

There have already been two EuroMillions Superdraws this year. The first was held in January but failed to produce a winner. We didn’t have to wait long for the top prize to be won. The very next draw saw  the €144 million (£61.7 million) jackpot shared by tickets sold in the UK and Spain.

There was more success for Spain in the EuroMillions Superdraw held on March 15. A ticket that had been purchased in Barcelona won the €130 million jackpot.

Three of the last five EuroMillions Superdraws have seen the jackpot won. Successive Superdraws produced a jackpot win last year in June and September.

This year has seen the EuroMillions jackpot won seven times. That’s one more win than at this time in 2023.

There have been eight EuroMillions Superdraws held in the month of June. The last one was held last year when a ticket that had been purchased in the UK won £111 million.

Lucky June

June is a lucky month in which to play the EuroMillions draw. Not since 2011 has the sixth month of the year failed to produce a jackpot winner.

Tonight’s EuroMillions draw has a £52 million (€61 million) jackpot. Tuesday’s draw failed to produce a winner but two tickets won the second-tier prize. One was sold in the UK and won £178,725.70. The other was purchased in Portugal and won its owner(s) €250,693.20.

The most recent jackpot success was in the May 14 draw when a ticket sold in France won €48.7 million.

That was the second successive jackpot win for France who have now sold a record 128 jackpot winning tickets, one more than the UK. Four jackpot winning EuroMillions tickets have been sold in France this year, will we see a fifth next Friday?
