SEPARATED EUROMILLIONS WINNERS PUT LUXURY HOMES ON THE MARKET
Adrian and Gillian Bayford, EuroMillions winners from six years ago, have not been out of the news since their win, and now they’re making headlines again as they both prepare to sell their luxury homes. The Bayfords won a record breaking £148 million EuroMillions jackpot prize in 2012, but split just over a year later. Since then, the pair have been in and out of the news as they have set up businesses, bought and sold property and experienced turbulent love lives. Mr Bayford was recently reported to have reopened a record shop which he closed after first
winning the EuroMillions jackpot. It has now been revealed that Mr Bayford is selling his £6.5 million Georgian mansion in Suffolk, just days after his ex-wife put her £735,000 Scottish waterfront home on the market. Mr Bayford bought the Suffolk property not long after the EuroMillions win, and it includes a farmhouse, four cottages, a staff annexe and living quarters for horses and livestock. Lots of EuroMillions winners spend their prize money on luxury homes, just like
lottery winners Dave and Angela Dawes who now live in Tom Jones’ old country manor house in East Sussex.Nearby residents believe that Mr Bayford may have become tired of the maintenance and upkeep that comes with the sprawling estate, where he has kept his own livestock.
The EuroMillions winner even hosted a rock festival in the grounds when it was cancelled at the last minute. “It is a wonderful place to live, but the house needs a lot of work done on it constantly to keep it in shape,” said a neighbour of Mr Bayford. His EuroMillions winning ex-wife, with whom he shares two children, on the other hand, has recently listed her £735,000 waterfront property for sale, which she bought from Mr Bayford several years ago. The property is a four-storey, five bedroom home in Newport near Fife, and features views across the Tay river from every level.
EuroMillions big winner and former Mrs Bayford recently remarried and presumably has set up home in one of her many other properties with her new husband, Brian Deans.
The lucky lotto winner was recently rumoured to have spent £619,990 on a 19th century castle near Newport. You never know when and where good fortune is going to strike, so purchase your tickets now at Lottery24.com.
