Record €245 million (£202 million) EuroMillions Jackpot Tomorrow

It’s already been a big week for lottery players with a $344 Mega Millions jackpot won on Tuesday. Tomorrow sees the largest ever EuroMillions jackpot with a fantastic €245 million (£202 million). Will we see history made on Friday?

The previous largest EuroMillions jackpot was won in December 2023 when  a ticket bought in Austria won a €240 million top prize.  

If tomorrow’s draw ends in a rollover, the jackpot cap will have been reached and next Tuesday will see a €250 million top prize.

We have seen three EuroMillions jackpot won this year. The most recent was on February 28 when a ticket that had been purchased in Belgium won €52.4 million.

Tuesday’s draw again failed to produce a winner. The numbers no ticket could completely match were: 01-03-18-33-36 and the two Lucky Stars 2 and 9, Two tickets were able to match all but one of the Lucky Stars.

One of those was sold in the UK, winning its owner(s) £449,612.60. The other was purchased in Austria and that lucky winner will receive €616,553.40. Not since 2021 has the month of March failed to produce a EuroMillions jackpot winner.

Illinois ticket wins $344 million Mega Millions jackpot

We have already seen one big  win this week. A ticket sold in Illinois, USA, won Tuesday's $344 million Mega Millions jackpot.

The lucky winner is yet to claim their fantastic winnings. We do know that the successful ticket was bought from a Casey General Store in Cortland, Illinois

It’s only the second time that the Mega Millions jackpot has been won in 2025. The other win came in the draw held on January 12. On that occasion, a ticket purchased in Arizona won $112 million.  Next month sees major changes being made to the Mega Millions lottery.

Illinois is a lucky state in which to buy Mega Millions tickets after a $552 million win last June. The cash option of this latest win is $159.1 million before taxes. Friday’s jackpot is $20 million. .
