£379,062 Postcode Lottery Win for Jason Donovan Fans

Usually when you see Jason Donovan he’s either singing or acting. That wasn’t the case for surprised residents in Goring-by-Sea in Sussex, England. He presented Postcode Lottery cheques with several players winning £379,062.

In all, 718 residents received a record £16.9 million in prizes, the largest ever prize handed out. One of the winners of £379,062 is Nicki who was stunned to see Jason Donovan on her doorstep.

Perfect end to “rubbish year.”

Nicki had seen the Australian in concerts held in nearby Brighton and also London but couldn’t believe he was on her driveway. The Postcode Lottery winner admits that 2022 has been a “rubbish year” after her partner Joe lost his job. This win changes all of that though.

A dream holiday in South Africa is planned and Nikki also wants to help others. Such was the shock of her win and meeting Jason Donovan, she joked: “I’m so happy I need a wee!”

Also winning a £379,062 Postcode Lottery prize was Lily Poland. At the age of 19 Lily moved to the south of England for “an adventure.” Then she met Peter and the couple are now married. Lily has had the same postcode for over 40 years and said: “It’s been a good postcode with lots of memories.” 

Another Jason Donovan fan shocked to see him was Wendy. “Never in a million years did I think Jason Donovan would be knocking at my door with a huge cheque,” said the £379,062 winner.

Time to go cruising

Wendy is 60 next year and thanks to this Postcode Lottery win, she’s planning to go on a cruise to Greece, Turkey and the Mediterranean. More trips will take place in the motorhome that her husband Mark intends buying. The win is good news for their son too. He’ll be given some of their winnings to pay for a deposit on a house.

Some people change when winning a huge prize. Not Keith though who also won a £379,062 Postcode Lottery prize. “I’ll still be tight-fisted,” joked the retiree.
