The Greater Manchester resident is a massive golf fan. Now the +4 handicapper is planning to fulfil his ambition of playing the top 100 golf courses in the UK and Ireland. He needs to play 42 more courses to complete his dream..

Near the top of his list is a trip to Scotland to play at the Trump International Golf links near Aberdeen. “When the weather’s better I’ll treat the lads to a nice round of golf there,” said the golf-mad Postcode Lottery winner. His favourite course is Royal Birkdale and he’s trying to become a member of the famous club.

A £1.02 million Postcode Lottery winner wants to go to Augusta  to see the US Masters golf tournament.

Away from the golf course he wants to buy “the house of my dreams,” a  secluded house in the country. His beloved Working Cocker Spaniel Pepsi will also appreciate the move as there’s an acre of land to run around.

A holiday to Barbados is also being planned. As for his partner  Laura, she’d told him that whatever his Postcode Lottery win was “I was to get her a cup of tea.”

Security

Another local winner was his friend Richard Gajewski. The great-grandad also loves golf but he and his wife have been suffering ill-health in recent years. Richard has had heart disease and his wife Shirley has been having back problems.

The retired couple are planning some house renovations and employing a gardener.. For his wife, their Postcode Lottery win means “a lot of security.”  A new car is also being considered by the couple.

Lee and Anna Ungers have also won a £111,111 Postcode Lottery prize. They married during  the pandemic so never had a proper honeymoon. That could well mean his wife gets the trip to the Maldives she’s been continually asking for. A house extension is also being planned by the couple.
