Over $1.4bn Could Be Won in This Weekend’s Lottery Draws

It’s already been a big week for lottery players. Tuesday saw a £62.2 million EuroMillions jackpot won by two tickets sold in the UK. We could be in for a momentous weekend with the combined total top prizes in the Mega Millions and Powerball draws being over $1.4 billion.

Big year for UK in EuroMillions lottery

2023 has been a year to remember for the UK in the EuroMillions draw. The last four jackpot winning tickets have all been sold in the UK winning over £220 million. Tuesday’s draw saw the £62.2 million jackpot  shared by two tickets. Both  winners have already claimed their prize but no further details have been revealed.

The latest success means the UK has now sold 125 jackpot winning EuroMillions tickets. That’s taken them three ahead of France on 122 with Spain on 116. The next draw is this evening with a £14 million jackpot.
