ONTARIO MAN PLANS TO TAKE HIS GOLF GAME ACROSS CANADA THANKS TO LOTTO 649 WIN

A retired crane operator from Pickering, Ontario, has won a huge $30 million Lotto 649 prize, and says he plans to take his golf game on tour.Late last year another Pickering man took early retirement after a $20 million Lotto 649 win, and now the 77-year-old lottery winner laughed with lottery winners at how he still hasn’t managed to score that elusive hole in one – but he has beaten the odds to win a Lotto 649 jackpot prize. William Perry, Ontario’s latest lottery winner, is a big golf fan, and now that he’s won so big on the lottery game he will be able to commit more time and money to his game.Recently we told you about an Ontario man who couldn’t believe his eyes when he won $1 million on the Lotto 649, but Mr Perry already has some great plans: “I play golf with a great bunch of friends and would love to take my game to the best courses in every single province and territory,” he told lottery officials in Toronto when he claimed his Lotto 649 prize this week. “It might not improve my swing but it’ll be a lot of fun.” A Welsh EuroMillions winner also planned to invest his winnings in spending more time on the golf course. After he found out about his big $30 million win, Mr Perry said that he spoke to OLG officials over the phone and when asked how he was feeling, he replied, “I’m fine thanks, I’m rich!” The lotto winner certainly has a good sense of humour, but he did admit that it might take a while for the reality of his big Lotto 649 win to really sink in.“You know, I never played Lotto 649 for the win. I always played for the dream,” Mr Perry said. “It’s going to take me a little time to really wrap my head around all that has just happened.” A EuroMillions winner from West Yorkshire in England also said it was taking a while for her luck to sink in after winning £14.5 million earlier this year.As well as his big Canadian golf trip, Mr Perry is looking forward to being able to support his family including his wife, children, and grandchildren. “It fills me with joy to be able to take care of them and to also take care of generations of children that I will probably never meet.” A retired New York bus driver also planned to support his children after winning $7 million on a Cash4Life lottery ticket. What would you do with a lottery windfall?
