A Lotto Max winner from the town of Whitby in Ontario, Canada, has revealed that she is still in shock a month after winning $175,000 in the lottery draw.Ranjini Cassup told lottery officials in Toronto that she has been playing the lottery for around 20 years, having played most of the popular Canada games including Super 7, Lotto 649, and now Lotto Max, where she won her fortune. He called me right away.” The 43-year-old Lotto Max winner works as a business consultant, but she couldn’t tell first if her husband was playing a trick on her. A woman from Québec thought her husband was also joking when he told her that they’d won $10 million on the Lotto Max lottery.It wasn’t until Mr Cassup brought the ticket home and showed his wife her prize total that she finally believed him. “When I saw the prize amount, I shed tears of joy.” A man from British Columbia in Western Canada said that his Lotto Max win would make his life less stressful, and similarly the latest Lotto Max winner said that now her winnings are in the bank, the couple plan to use it sensibly by putting a down payment on a brand-new house and ensuring that they can live their lives debt free.  A young man from England was able to pay off all of his student debt four months after graduating thanks to a £1 million EuroMillions win.One month on from the Lotto Max drawing on July 13^th which won Ms Cassup her $175,000, she told OLG officials in Toronto that it still feels surreal, and despite having the money in the bank, she still needs to pinch herself.
