October Begins With a €143 million (£119 million) EuroMillions Jackpot

Friday’s EuroMillions Superdraw failed to produce a jackpot winner. That means tomorrow the top prize is a fantastic €143 million (£119 million). Will a ticket bought from Lottery24 make you a multi-millionaire?

The numbers chosen in Friday’s €130 million (£108 million) EuroMillions Superdraw were: 07-20-21-27-38 and the two Lucky Stars 05 and 12.

No tickets were able to match all those numbers but there were three near misses, each winning €416,328.80 for matching the five main balls but just one Lucky Star.

All that left us with a rollover and the fifth highest EuroMillions jackpot of the year. Wouldn’t it be the most brilliant way to begin the month if winning the draw held on October 1?

There have been 12 EuroMillions jackpots won so far in 2024. The highest win was  €213.8 million which was won by a EuroMillions ticket sold in Portugal  in the June 25 draw.

Last October, the jackpot was won three times with tickets purchased in Spain winning two of them and the other being sold in Portugal.

Lucky numbers

Which numbers could be the ones that make you a multi-millionaire? Let’s take a look at how recent EuroMillions draws have progressed.

Where has number 43 gone? It hasn’t come out in a EuroMillions draw since June 4. Could it make an appearance in tomorrow’s draw?

The last five draws have failed to see a single digit number come out. If one does appear tomorrow, could it be either 02 or 04? Neither of those numbers have been seen since July.

Both of the last two draws have seen 20 and 21 appear. That’s not too surprising as they are the two most common numbers that are drawn out with 203 appearances between them. Could one or both appear for the third successive draw tomorrow?

In terms of the Lucky Stars, number 05 has been chosen in both of the last two EuroMillions draws. 03 is the most regularly drawn Lucky Star and has been seen in two of the last three draws.
