NEW PAIR OF TEETH FOR ADVENTUROUS £1M EUROMILLIONS WINNER
A new pair of teeth is on the shopping list for a New Zealand woman who's won £1m and a luxury holiday in the May 27 EuroMillions draw.Diana De Gilio was one day short of her 70th birthday when discovering her big EuroMillions win. A $90m Powerball jackpot winner from Colorado, USA won the same week as his birthday. The New Zealander was in England staying in West Norfolk with her friend Sandy Marsden. Diana also won a £40,000 luxury trip to Bali and Lombok and will be taking Sandy with her. Her friend joked, “All I did was drive her to the shop to get the ticket.”Her winning ticket was purchased from the Great Massingham Post Office and Village Stores. She used £10 scratchcard winnings to buy some EuroMillions tickets. The lucky winner discovered her big win the day after the draw. When contacting Camelot it was so windy she could barely hear what was being said. “They said I had won £1m, and I replied 'What?' My immediate thought was unprintable. I couldn't believe it.”Other plans for her EuroMillions windfall include that new pair of teeth, a car, health insurance and presents for her three daughters, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Scotsman Alfie Crosbie used the ages of his grandchildren to help him win a £600,000 UK Lotto prize. A lot of travelling is planned with Patagonia and Canada at the top of the list. Rodney and Vanessa Hancock from Devon, England, travelled around Europe after they won £1m playing EuroMillions. Her friend, Mrs Marsden, added, “I've had a millionaire mowing the lawns and cutting hedges all week.” She could have got the Coombes couple from Southampton who got a new lawn mower after their £1m UK Lotto win. A 40-year-old man from Maryland, USA, also got a lawn mower with his $10,000 Cookie and Cash winnings. This EuroMillions winner won't waste her EuroMillions winnings declaring, “Our father raised us to be independent. I won't go stupid with the money.” Diana is also planning on a wing walk following her 192m base-jump off Auckland's Sky Tower last year.Give your dreams a chance and purchase your lottery tickets online at Lottery24.com.
