A Powerball winner from the Garden State has won the $190m jackpot on the April 8 draw. Powerball officials say the winner could also opt to take the cash sum of almost $156m.The lucky player bought the ticket from Buy-rite Liquor on Stelton Road in Piscataway. The Middlesex County store owner will collect $30,000 for being the store to sell the winning ticket.The winning numbers for the draw were 2, 37, 39, 48, 54, and the Powerball was 5.“Congratulations to the winner of this multi-million-dollar jackpot!" said James Carey,New Jersey Lottery Executive Director, in a statement. "We encourage the winner to sign the back of the ticket, make a copy of both sides and put it in a safe place. We recommend contacting a financial advisor and an attorney before reaching out to Lottery officials."A player from North Carolina was just one number short of a share of the jackpot, but still managed to collect a cool $1m after matching 5 balls.
