National Lottery Release ‘A Christmas Love Story’ Film
Christmas is getting ever closer and it’s the most wonderful time of the year to win a big lottery prize. In the UK, the National Lottery is inviting players throughout the nation to come together and imagine just what it’d be like to land a massive win in time for Christmas.
A special Christmas film has been released by the National Lottery. It’s called ‘Christmas Love Story’ and it’s directed by Tom Hooper who won a Best Director Oscar for the movie ‘The King’s Speech.’
The director owes a lot to the National Lottery. The Oscar winning film was helped by funding from the National Lottery Good Causes fund via the British Film Institute.
Accompanying the three-and-a-half minute film is the song ‘Faith’ which was a big hit for the late George Michael. Here it’s performed by Sleeping at Last. You can see the film in cinemas, on television and online.
A chance meeting
We see two people who meet purely by chance on a train. They want to see each other again so exchange a phone number. This is written on the back of a lottery ticket. Disaster occurs when the girl realises the number has become smudged. It’s important that they see each other again though.
News breaks of an unclaimed winning lottery ticket, could it be the one with the number written on the back? The couple eventually meet again and don’t just fall in love but claim that lottery prize.
The magic of hope
What does all this mean? Well, it encourages people to take a chance and ensure they always believe in the magic of hope and possibility as Christmas approaches. Perhaps that might be winning the £123 million EuroMillions jackpot tomorrow.
There’ll be the chance for the general public to get involved. A real life experience invites people to get involved. Selected railway stations around the UK will have special photo booths.
Those in the station will have the opportunity to get their photo taken. The photos will then be seen by many others as it’s projected on a digital OOH space.
