Multiple Lottery Wins For Lucky Americans

Many of us would be glad of just one big lottery win. However, sometimes more than one comes along.

Peggy Williams from Raleigh in North Carolina, USA, recently won $500,000 playing a Double Diamond Cashword scratchcard.  Her big win came less than a month since her son was a winner. Randy was lucky enough to win a $518,774 Cash 5 lottery jackpot.

Hard to believe

When lottery success arrives, it’s often difficult to come to terms with what has just happened. That was the case with Peggy as she recalled. “This is hard to believe. I went over it about 10 times to make sure I had it correct."

Her scratchcard really had won her half a million dollars. The lucky winner wasn’t alone when collecting her winnings. Joining Peggy was her son who perhaps didn’t expect to be back at Lottery HQ so soon after collecting his own prize.

He was delighted to be back and said: “I feel like we are blessed.”  Plans for the big wins are already in place. Money will be used renovating Peggy’s home. Now they have two slices of lottery luck, building a new house is a possibility.

Five times a winner

Even happier is a man from Silver Spring in Maryland, USA. His lottery luck has really been flowing with five wins this year. The 43-year-old had four wins in the Pick 5 draw two months ago. He’d purchased four identical tickets and they won him $200,000.

If that winning streak wasn’t enough, he struck it lucky again in the Pick 5 draw held on July 10. This time he won another $50,000 prize using the numbers 9-8-5-5-7. He hasn’t decided how to spend his winnings but is sure of one fact. He’ll keep on playing the Pick 5 lottery draw so may well be getting more wins in the future.

Perhaps he’ll try his luck on the Mega Millions lottery. Tonight’s draw has a massive $720 million jackpot as the search for a first win since April continues.
