MISSISSAUGA SYNDICATE SHARE $40 MILLION LOTTO 649 JACKPOT

A syndicate of lucky lottery player from Mississauga near Toronto in Ontario, Canada, have claimed a huge $40 million Lotto 649 prize dating back to last October. The $40,497,949.90 jackpot was won in the Lotto 649 drawing on October 28th, 2017, and members of the syndicate from the Greater Toronto Area in Canada have now attended the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to claim the prize. A group of five mothers from the GTA claimed $1 million that they won together of the Lotto 649 at the end of last year, and they were in shock at their good fortune. The recent winners took several months to claim their jackpot prize, but according to lottery officials that wasn’t entirely their decision.Apparently, a partner of one of the syndicate members is classed as a lottery ‘insider’, somebody who perhaps works for the Lotto 649 or for the OLG headquarters, and so an independent review had to be made to ensure that the group’s big win was all above board. And of course, it was, with the six group members from across the GTA taking home their shares of the winnings. Earlier this year we told you about another syndicate from across the GTA who shared $367,156 which they won on the Lotto Max game, and a group from the nearby town of Burlington who scooped $172,000 also on the Lotto Max.The winners were George Scott, Jeffrey Townsend, Jerzy Homa and Andrzej Jasinski from Mississauga, Edward Deosaran from Toronto, and James Jackson from Hamilton. It was not revealed how the six winners knew each other, or how long they have been playing the Lotto 649 together. In 2015, the largest ever Canadian Lotto 649 prize was won by a single player in Mississauga, and they also took a while to come forward and claim their prize.A seventh person has also made a claim for the $40 million Lotto 649 prize, and lottery officials confirmed that one seventh of the prize money had been withheld in case the other winner turns out to have a legitimate claim as part of the syndicate winners. Recently we told you about a Newfoundland syndicate who won $60 million on the Lotto Max, and a portion of their winnings were also withheld for a potential member who eventually decided not to due for a share of the winnings.Don't miss any opportunity of becoming next winner and play online with us at Lottery24.com.
