Million Dollar Tennessee Cash Ticket Temporarily Lost

It’s great to win a big lottery prize but imagine the panic if you lost your ticket. Nick Slatten from Sparta in Tennessee, USA, did just that after winning $1.178 million in the Tennessee Cash game on March 11. Thankfully, he was able to find his ticket.He’d had a busy day laying tiles and needed some refreshment. So it was that on March 10, he headed to a local grocery store. There he bought a much needed drink but also purchased a Tennessee Cash ticket for the next draw.

The following day his life changed. His ticket has won a $1.178 million prize. “I was stunned. I couldn't believe it," the lucky winner said. "I can't express it. It was something else." Now all he had to do was ensure his winning ticket didn’t go missing before he could claim his winnings.

It’s Missing

It wasn’t long before he told his fiancée Michelle's his amazing news. Life then continued as normal as he ran errands and took his brother to the O’Reilly auto parts store. An hour later though, he realized that his winning Tennessee Cash ticket had gone missing.Desperate to find his winning ticket, he retraced his steps and finally he found it. The Tennessee Cash ticket was lying on the ground in the auto parts store car park close to another car. “It’s a million-dollar ticket and someone stepped right over it,” said the relieved lottery winner.
