LUCKY UK LOTTERY PLAYER WON £93 MILLION EUROMILLIONS PRIZE
A lottery player from the UK has become the latest multi-million pound EuroMillions lottery winner after their ticket became the only winner this weekend. The prize winner, who has claimed their prize but has not yet released any further information about themselves, won the £93,388,943 prize on the EuroMillions draw on Friday evening. The EuroMillions jackpot has not been won since May 26th and on Friday, June 5th the EuroMillions lottery offered a brand new SuperDraw, boosting the jackpot for a very special draw. However, unfortunately nobody won the top prize in that special draw and therefore the jackpot rolled over and became worth just over £93 million after the midweek draw. This weekend’s jackpot was the largest lottery top prize in the UK so far this year, and the mystery winner will be one of the richest lottery winners in British history. Now ranking sixth on the National Lottery rich list, the winner could receive their prize as early as Monday when lottery offices open after their ticket matched all of the drawn numbers 5, 8, 10, 11 and 37 as well as the two Lucky Stars 7 and 9. A spokesperson for the National Lottery said “We’re delighted Friday’s ticket-holder has come forward to claim this truly life changing prize.”This is the third time this year that the EuroMillions jackpot has been won in the UK, and the winner follows behind other high profile jackpot winners such as Colin and Chris Weir from Largs, North Ayrshire, who top the National Lottery winner’s life after their £161 million win in July 2011. Second on the list are EuroMillions winners Adrian and Gillian Bayford, who won their £148 million in 2012.This weekend’s winner will have the option as to whether or not they will go public with their win, and if they decide to reveal their identity then we could find out more about their plans for their winnings in the next week.To be in with a chance of winning, why don’t you purchase your lottery tickets online at Lottery24.com.
