Lucky Feeling Results in £1 million EuroMillions Success
Sometimes in life you just feel lucky. Ceri Ann Roscoe-Roberts from Bangor in Wales felt that way on November 3 and later that day won a £1 million EuroMillions prize.
Somehow Ceri forgot to check the results. Waking up on Saturday morning again she felt lucky and remembered buying the EuroMillions ticket. Minutes later her lucky feelings were replaced by other thoughts. Mainly, what will I do now that I'm a millionaire?
Is this actually real?
“I had to pinch myself as I thought I was somehow in the middle of a dream and none of this was actually real,” recalled the shocked winner.
Ceri’s golf-loving husband told her to calm down and let him try to confirm the incredible result. He too was convinced they had won £1 million. They then carried out the regular routine of taking their sons to their football games. While one of their sons was playing football, the couple stayed in their car and phoned the National Lottery to claim their prize.

“I am surprised the car didn’t overturn, it was shaking with the jubilation of us all shouting, screaming and jumping up and down inside,” said the now delighted EuroMillions winner.
It wasn’t such good news for their other son whose football team had just been beaten. His mum soon cheered him up, saying: “‘Don’t worry son, losing the football game doesn’t matter – we’ve won the lottery!’”
Some decisions have already been taken by Ceri and her husband Paul, 45. Neither will be quitting their jobs as they love them so much..A larger house is on their spending list.
Both husband and wife will be buying themselves a new car thanks to their EuroMillions success. Not surprisingly, Paul has already bought himself a new set of golf clubs.
Tonight’s EuroMillions draw has a £54m jackpot, do you feel lucky?
