Lucky Coin Helps Win a Second $4m Lottery Prize in Three Years

We all need a bit of luck to win a big lottery prize. Mark Clark from South Rockwood in Michigan, USA, must have more than most as he’s won a $4 million prize for the second time in three years. Then again, he does have a lucky coin.

It was back in 2017 that this lucky player was out delivering fuel when he decided to buy a Millionaire’s Club scratchcard. To his amazement, he scooped $4 million. That allowed him to quit his job and spend plenty of time going fishing with his father. Sadly, his father passed away in 2019.

History Repeats Itself

Fast forward to 2020 and the 50-year-old struck lucky again and has won another $4 million lottery prize. History looks like repeating itself because Mr Clark is planning on more fishing trips in the future. This time it will be with his son and other members of his family.

In a statement, the lucky winner expressed his shock at this second lottery win. He stated that it was difficult for him to put into words just how he was feeling. "You don't think you'll win millions once, and you definitely never think it would happen twice," said the incredibly lucky player. "I've had a lot of ups and downs in my life, but everything is pretty amazing right now,” he added.

A Very Lucky Coin

Perhaps he had a bit of help with his second lottery win. Ten years ago, his father gave him a lucky coin. It’s certainly lived up to that description. He recalled how that coin was used to scratch off his winning $150,000,000 Payout ticket. “I can't help but think maybe that lucky coin helped me win this,” he said.

In March of this year, a player named as ‘Joe B.’ from Colorado, USA, also had double success. He didn’t have to wait three years though. That player amazingly won two $1 million Powerball prizes on the same day.

As with his first big lottery win, after taxes, Mr Clark will receive a lump sum of approximately $2.5 million. He still has that lucky coin, so who knows a third win may well be just around the corner.
