A group of Lotto Max winners from Montreal have claimed a $50 million prize. The 20 strong syndicate each take home $2.5 million.

The syndicate was put together by a lottery retailer in Champlain Mall, Montreal. Making plans for their millions

The winners all have different plans for their share of the winnings. Roger Émond and Johanne Vincent will be able to take early retirement. Josée Frappier wants to make some renovations to her home.Francine Robichaud has a lot of plans. She wants to make some home renovations, take a trip and upgrade her car. Natran Dinh also wants a vehicle upgrade as well as a new home.Another winner who plans to travel is André Hardy. He wants to take a vacation to Greece.

Paying off bills and trading in homes

Chi Shing Man will pay off his mortgage and car loan. Similarly, Daniel Rivard told lottery officials that he’s fed up of living in condos and he’s going to buy himself a house.A large group of couples and friends who meet for coffee were also part of the syndicate. They had 11 shares between them. They didn’t discuss how they would spend their winnings, but they’ll celebrate together.The solo winner from Montreal city centre said that he was still in shock. He added that the store clerk appeared to be in more shock than him when she checked his ticket.
