Imagine receiving a late-night phone call telling you you’ve just won $100 million. That’s what happened on Tuesday February 4 to the winner of the Oz Lotto jackpot.

The lucky winner is a woman from Elizabeth Hills in Western Sydney. Her win is the largest ever individual success for an Oz Lotto player.

The lottery winner had just been watching ‘Married at First Sight’ and was getting ready to go to bed. Never did she imagine her life was about to change forever.

Her Oz Lotto ticket had been registered so the lottery company knew exactly who the $100 million winner was. The Elizabeth Hills resident had not seen the results so was a bit shocked and worried when the phone rang at 10pm.

“Why are you calling this late?”

“Who is this? Why are you calling this late?” was her initial response. Then the amazing news was told to her and all she could say was: “‘What the hell! Can you repeat that? Oh my god! Don’t lie to me!”

Buying her own house is also going to happen. Additionally, the delighted player says she’ll treat herself more and “go on some holidays.”

Her final words were: “Thank you so much. I probably won’t sleep tonight. I’ll have to check again in the morning to make sure I’m not dreaming!”
