The lucky winner has asked to remain anonymous. However, we know that she is in her 30s and is a mother. Her ticket was the only one that was a division one winner in last Tuesday’s Oz Lotto draw. Her ticket successfully matched 03-27-31-37-38-39-42 to win the $30 million.

Her late-night cup of tea was supposed to be part of the winding down process before going to bed. She had tried to check the results of the Oz Lotto draw to see if her ticket had been a winner. However, the results weren’t ready, so she went and had a shower instead.

However, her Oz Lotto ticket was a registered one. That means the lottery company knew who had purchased the ticket that had just won $30 million, and they couldn’t wait to talk to them.

Not surprisingly, the Queenslander says that news of her Oz Lotto win is “a lot to take on board.” Already though she has plans for how the massive windfall will be spent. “With this, we can set ourselves up, set our kids up, set our family up.  It will change our lives, and we’ll want to share that kindness with others.”

As for that cup of tea, well something stronger was planned by the Oz Lotto winner and you can’t blame her at all for that decision. Her children were in bed, but the lucky player said that she and her husband would be “pacing up and down all night thinking about it all.” Now their lives are changed forever, and a new life begins.
