He answered and said, “I can’t talk to you right now love,” and handed the phone to his brother. Eventually she got to speak to her husband, Daniel Peart, 27, who recalled the moment when Charlotte called him with the news of her EuroMillions HotPicks win. He said: “I didn’t believe her at all because we like to wind each other up.”It was only when his wife showed him a screenshot of the message from the National Lottery that told her of the EuroMillions HotPicks win that he realised she was telling the truth.
