“I’m on Cloud Nine” says Shocked £403,641 Postcode Lottery Winner

A fantastic £403,641 Postcode Lottery prize has been won by two players from Wythenshawe in Greater Manchester, England. They only live one door apart and already have big plans on how to spend their windfalls.

Happy with £4,463

One of the £403,641 winners are Michelle and Brett Davidson. When hearing she’d won a prize, Michelle thought it’d only be £1,000. Then at a presentation ceremony a cheque for £4,463 was initially given to her.

That delighted the Sainsbury’s sales assistant but then it was revealed she was one of the full winners. “I’m on cloud nine and just floating away,” said the overwhelmed Postcode Lottery winner.  Fraser Macleod from nearby Stockport recently won a £111,111 Postcode Lottery prize.

The couple plan on buying new cars for their two children and they’ll both receive £25,000. The generous couple will donate £1,000 worth of toys to a local Christmas charity appeal.

As for Ruth and Brett, they plan on  going on holidays, including a trip to Hawaii in 2026 to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. Brett also wants to go to a F1 race even if it’s only the British Grand Prix.

Surprised at work

Also winning £403,641 was Ruth Green but she wasn’t at the presentation ceremony. The hospital caterer was busy serving tea to patients when being told of her massive Postcode Lottery win. There wasn’t much time to celebrate as the patients were waiting for their sandwiches, soup and some more hot drinks.

Family comes first for her and Ruth plans to help her daughter who lives with her and her sister. House renovations will also take place with the bathroom and heating needing some work. Her daughter hopes that they will visit family members living in South Africa and the Philippines, even though her mum prefers Anglesey in Wales.

The win will help the local community with one winner giving all his money to the local boxing club. One former resident of the area is former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
