Fancy Hair Cut for £90,909 Postcode Lottery Winner

Just 11 days before Christmas, neighbours in the village of Westerleigh which is in the English county of Gloucestershire shared a £1 million Postcode Lottery prize. For one it will mean a trip to the hairdressers and others foreign holidays.

Nine players who live in Mill Crescent were the jackpot winners in the December 14 draw. Each winner was due to receive £90,909 but a couple of the neighbours doubled their win as they bought two tickets..

Grandmother Heather Harding was busy planning a new hairdo and not one but two bottles of Baileys after her £90,909 windfall.

Speaking about her Postcode Lottery win, Heather joked: “I'm going to get my hair cut and get rid of my grey. A nice, layered bob, a nice brown colour." Remember to  check all the results on our site  to see if you’ve had a win.

Shared winnings

One of the winners was Luke Packer who works as a nurse. His £90,909 Postcode Lottery winnings will be shared with his mother. That’s because she paid half of the cost of the ticket.

It’s not the only piece of good news Luke has recently received. The 25-year-old has also been given the all-clear after a cancer battle. He plans to use his winnings to renovate the house he shares with his girlfriend.

“This has made my life, let alone Christmas,” said the overjoyed Postcode Lottery winner. He added: “This is the sort of money you don’t come across that often and are unlikely to ever again.”

Unforgettable holiday

Also winning £90,909 was IT manager Fraser Clark. He’s now planning to take his wife and two children on holiday to Canada and the US. It’s going to be an unforgettable trip, especially when travelling from Las Vegas to Los Angeles.

His idea is to hire a convertible car for that fantastic journey. “I've never had anything like this in my life,” said the delighted winner. Tony, who lives 20 miles away in Bristol, also  planned foreign holidays after his £800,000 Postcode Lottery win.
