Exciting Times for Mega Millions and EuroMillions Superdraw Players

It’s a massive night for lottery players on both sides of the Atlantic. Tonight sees a €130 million (£107 million) EuroMillions Superdraw. That’s followed by the Mega Millions draw and big changes are on their way to that lottery.

Even though this lottery has on six occasions produced a jackpot of over $1 billion, changes are on the way to make Mega Millions even more exciting to play.

Changes are due to be introduced next month. They will see a larger minimum jackpot of $50 million (up from $20 million) with all wins higher than the cost of the ticket. The plan is that the changes will see the jackpot grow faster and the odds of winning the top prize will be improved due to one less Mega Ball to choose from.

Joshua Johnston is the Lead Director of the Mega Millions Consortium. He says they “expect more billion-dollar jackpots than ever before.” Last December  a ticket sold in California won a $1.269 billion Mega Millions jackpot.

Before this evening’s Mega Millions draw,  there’s the first EuroMillions Superdraw of 2025.  Players will be trying to win the €130 million (£107 million) jackpot.

EuroMillions Superdraw tonight

It’s a massively enhanced jackpot as the top prize was only won two draws ago. Tuesday saw a €17 million (£14 million) jackpot and that produced a rollover.
