EuroMillions Superdraw On December 2

For only the second time, a EuroMillions Superdraw will be held in December. The date to put in your diary is Friday December 2. On that night, the enhanced jackpot will be €130 million (approximately £112 million).

The only other EuroMillions Superdraw held in December took place last year, That ended in a rollover but was won in the next draw by a ticket sold in Spain.

Fourth EuroMillions Superdraw of 2022

2022 has seen three EuroMillions Superdraws take place. Only the one held in February saw the enhanced jackpot won. On that occasion, it was a ticket sold in the UK that won £109 million.

The others were held in June and September with no jackpot winners. There was one due to take place in April. However, that was cancelled as the EuroMillions jackpot was already over €130 million.

Could that happen again in December? It’s unlikely as tonight’s jackpot is only €16 million (£14 million). That’s because the November 4 draw saw a ticket sold in France win a €160.7 million jackpot.

A new record?

If there is a rollover on December 2, then the jackpot will keep on rising. It could go as high as a record €240 million. That could happen around Christmas time, what a way to end a year!

The current record EuroMillions win is €230 million. That was won by a ticket sold in the UK and won £195.7 million. The very lucky winner claimed their fantastic winnings but has remained anonymous.

If the EuroMillions top prize reaches €240 and is won, the jackpot cap will rise to a maximum of €250 million. That’s still €52 million less than the SuperEnalotto jackpot in this evening’s draw. Unlike EuroMillions, Italy’s lottery doesn’t have a jackpot cap or must-be-won draw.
