Two years later in March 2009, the€100 million jackpot was shared between tickets in Austria and France. Six months later, the next EuroMillions Superdraw also produced a jackpot winner with a ticket sold in France scooping €100 million.

The next four Superdraws held in 2010 and 2011 didn’t produce a winner. That led to the jackpot just getting higher and higher. That happened in May 2011 and eventually a Spanish ticket won a €121 million top prize.

September 2016 was an important month in the history of the EuroMillions Superdraw. The guaranteed jackpot rose to €130 million. No ticket won that amount, but the top prize was eventually won the following month after reaching €168 million and was another triumph for Belgium.

Record Wins

EuroMillions Superdraws do sometimes lead to records being broken. In September 2017 the Superdraw rolled over and eventually the jackpot cap of €190 million was reached. A ticket sold in Spain won that amount on October 6.

That record win has been beaten several times since then due to new rules. The highest win at present is €220 million. The February 4 Superdraw could be the start of rollovers that lead to the new jackpot cap of €230 million being won.
