€130m EuroMillions Superdraw on December 3

History will be made next month with the first ever December EuroMillions Superdraw. It will be held on Friday December 3 with a guaranteed jackpot of €130 million (approximately £111 million).

This is the fourth EuroMillions Superdraw of the year, the last being held on September 24. That ended in a rollover and eventually, a record €220 million jackpot was won on October 15. A ticket sold in France won that. The jackpot cap is now a record €230 million.

Of the three EuroMillions Superdraw held so far this year, only one has seen the jackpot won. That was in the June 4 draw. A ticket sold in the United Kingdom won the €130 million top prize. That was the ninth largest UK win but the lucky player asked to remain anonymous.

The first EuroMillions Superdraw of 2021 was held on February 5. That resulted in a rollover and on February 23, a Swiss ticket won the €210 million prize.

Another French win?

It’s been a lucky year for players of the EuroMillions draw. This month saw a ticket sold in France win a €162 million jackpot in the November 26 draw. The next draw is on Tuesday 30 November with a €17 million jackpot. With the next being a EuroMillions Superdraw, that will see the jackpot enhanced by over €100 million on Friday.

The additional amount comes from the Reserve Fund. This is given a percentage of the prize fund from every regular draw.

Never has there been a December EuroMillions Superdraw. It would certainly be an amazing time to win a €130 million EuroMillions jackpot. If it keeps rolling over then we could see an even larger win, just in time for Christmas. Hopefully a ticket bought from Lottery24 will produce a jackpot winner.
