€130 million (£111 million) EuroMillions Jackpot Next Friday
Could you be just a week away from the greatest day of your life? Friday March 15 sees the second EuroMillions Superdraw take place. The enhanced jackpot is an incredible €130 million (£111 million), will a ticket bought from lottery24 be the winning one?
Second Superdraw of 2024
2024 has already seen one EuroMillions Superdraw take place. That was held on January 26 and ended in a rollover. It wasn’t until the following draw that the top prize was won. That saw two tickets share the €144 million jackpot.
One of those was sold in Spain with the other being purchased in the UK. Both the winners have claimed their EuroMillions wins. The Spanish winner has remained anonymous but we know that the other EuroMillions lucky winners were Richard and Debbie Nuttall from Lancashire in England.
This is the second successive year in which a EuroMillions Superdraw has been held in the month of March. The one held in 2023 ended in a rollover but again the next draw produced a winner. On that occasion it was a ticket sold in Belgium that won the bumper €144 million jackpot.
Before the EuroMillions Superdraw held last March, there hadn’t been one in that month since 2015. That produced a €100 million win for a ticket that had been bought in Portugal. The only other March win in a superdraw was way back in 2009 with €100 million being shared by tickets sold in France and Austria.
A third rollover?
The last two EuroMillions Superdraws have both ended in a rollover. Not since 2022 has there been three in a row that didn’t see a ticket win the top prize.
2024 might just be a special year for players of the EuroMillions draw. There are usually four EuroMillions Superdraws held each year but we may well have more in 2024.
Even more special could be a record jackpot win. The jackpot cap is now €250 million so if the top prize keeps rolling over, that could well be reached. Tonight’s draw has a £54 million jackpot.
