€1 million Irish Lotto Winner Almost Crashes his Car
Learning that you’ve just won a €1 million Irish Lotto prize is bound to be a massive shock. For a man from Kerry in Ireland, it was such a surprise that he nearly crashed his car.
He had purchased his ticket online and while out driving received an email requesting that he check his ticket. He did just that and couldn’t believe what he was seeing. The shocked Irish Lotto winner immediately returned home. “I swear I almost crashed the car,” he joked.
Thankfully that didn’t happen and now he’s looking forward to spending his winnings from the September 13 Irish Lotto draw.
Arriving home safely, he now had to tell his wife their fantastic news but that proved to be a difficult task. Convincing your loved ones that you’ve just won a massive lottery prize is sometimes almost as difficult as winning it in the first place.
Such a messer
This Irish Lotto winner knew that would be the case though. “I am such a messer and would totally pretend that I’d won” he said but this time he was being totally serious. They really were lottery millionaires.
How many zeros?
After checking his phone, she realised that he was not joking on this occasion and finally believed her husband. The two of them then began to count the zeros to confirm they had won €1 million. He had some fears that his phone might have been hacked and someone was playing a trick on him but his ticket really was a big winner.
One bonus in buying a ticket online is that there isn’t the worry your winning ticket might be lost. There were no such fears for this lottery winner. It was two weeks before he went to claim his Irish Lotto winnings. Now he has his fantastic prize and can plan on how to spend his windfall.
He and his wife have already been busy looking at properties. Above all the win is going to be used to ensure they have a great future.
