Easter Eggs Galore for £2.5m TattsLotto Winner

Have you bought any Easter eggs yet? They seem to get more expensive every year but that doesn’t concern a man from Victoria in Australia. He won $2.5 million in the TattsLotto draw held on March 25 and he can’t wait to start buying Easter eggs.

The lucky player was one of eight division one winners in the TattsLotto draw. However, he hadn’t seen the results so had no idea that he was now a millionaire.

As his ticket was registered, the lottery organisers did know of his success. They tried calling him a few times but there was no reply. When the TattsLotto player noticed the missed calls, he called them and got the shock of his life.

Gee whiz!

“Holy s***! Gee whiz!”  was his loud reply when told of his $2.5 million TattsLotto win. He described the news as “just phenomenal” and “one of the greatest shocks of my life.” You dread to think what could possibly top this discovery.

He explained that when first being told to check his ticket, his belief was just an update on the size of the jackpot. Then he saw that one of his tickets had won $8 and thought that’s how much he’d won. He even told a workmate who laughed at his delight at winning such a low amount.

Now it’s his turn to be laughing, said the regular purchaser of TattsLotto tickets. As has been the case with some other recent winners, his ticket was bought online.

Great Easter present

He added: “What a great Easter present to receive. I could buy all the Easter chocolates with $2.5 million!”

The lucky player won’t just be buying some Easter eggs of course. He also plans to help his family and friends with some of his winnings. He’s going to retire from work and then buy a new house. While he was shocked at learning about his win, he was yet to tell his parents. “I think my mum will faint,” he laughed.
