€66M EUROMILLIONS JACKPOT WINNER CLAIMS PRIZE
Excitement has been building in Ireland since news that the winner of the €66m jackpot in the January 29 EuroMillions draw came from that country. The winner of the fourth largest EuroMillions win in Ireland’s history came forward on Monday (February 1) to claim their life-changing prize. No details have been released about who the winner is. It’s the latest big EuroMillions jackpot win in Ireland after a player won €86.7m on this lottery last year. Also celebrating a EuroMillions win recently were a family from Co Cork who recently won €458,316.The weekend had been full of speculation over just who had won the EuroMillions jackpot. That’s just what happened in England when it was revealed a £33m UK Lotto jackpot winning ticket was sold in Worcester.A lot of focus was centred on Kilmore Quay in Co Wexford. John Brady, who owns the Mace store in the fishing village, had to deny he had sold the jackpot winning ticket. “I got about four phone calls from different shop owners in Wexford town. They were all asking if I sold the winner. But we haven’t been told a thing. I’m sure we would know by now.” Perhaps he might follow in the footsteps of Donal O’Grady who sold a €3.8 million Irish Lotto ticket.Speculation had moved up into overdrive by a Facebook post that showed a group of women enjoying a meal. It had the caption ‘Spending our Lotto winnings’ but it later turned out they were only out celebrating a €250 win.Even if Mr Brady has sold the winning EuroMillions ticket, he says he won’t be looking through his CCTV cameras to work out the winner’s identity. “It would have me going mad. It would come out as well. I just wouldn’t be right” said the shop owner.Perhaps the winner might even make a donation to the store like the recent UK Lotto winner in Leicestershire, England. The winning numbers in the January 29 EuroMillions draw were: 1, 5, 23, 29, and 32 and the two Lucky Stars numbers were 1 and 7.For your chance to win, play now at Lottery24.com!
