The 59-year-old warehouse manager said that his People’s Postcode Lottery win will enable him to take the family on a memorable holiday. “We have six children between us and we’re foster parents to three more, so it would be great to get all the family together and go to Disney World in Florida and make lots of memories together.” A family from West Yorkshire in England was also planning a trip to Walt Disney World after winning £1 million on the EuroMillions, while a couple from Swansea in Wales were hoping to take their three children on the same trip when they scored £1 million on the UK Lotto.Another of the street’s winners was Sara Smith, a 37-year-old mum of one who was also planning to use her £30,000 People’s Postcode Lottery prize to take a holiday to Florida. “We’ve never had the opportunity to go on a family holiday abroad,” she told lottery officials, adding that as she lives with multiple sclerosis and is unable to work, the People’s Postcode Lottery cash injection will definitely help to ease their household finances. Recently the People’s Postcode Lottery boosted a Scottish charity by providing funding for them to send school meals to some of the poorest children in the world.Elaine Ferguson was another of the Dunfermline winners, and the supermarket demonstrator said that her winnings will help herself and her husband to prepare for retirement. “It’s so nice to win alongside all my neighbours,” she added. “I’ll definitely be having a few drinks to celebrate tonight.”Try your hand at the lottery game and purchase your tickets online at Lottery24.com.
