Dreams Come True for Lotto Max Winners

Winning a Lotto Max prize can cause dreams to become reality. That’s been the case for three lucky players who have won $1.5 million between them in the draw held on June 18.

Alfred and Debrah Cranfield from Chilliwack in British Colombia, Canada, won $1 million in the June 18 Lotto Max draw.  They managed to match all seven numbers and won a Maxmillions prize. It wasn’t until the following day though that they learned of their success.

Could it be us?

Speaking about their big win, Debrah told how her husband had noticed someone in Chilliwack had won $1 million. It couldn’t be them, could it?  “He got quiet for a minute and then said, ‘I think we won a million dollars!’”

Immediately they began to tell the news of their Lotto Max win to their children. “I can't tell you what my son said, but they were so excited for us," said Alfred.

He says that their “thrilling and shocking” win will allow them to finally go on their dream safari. Also planned is a trip to Greece while also upgrading their vehicle.

Another player in Canada celebrating a Lotto Max win is Michael Maxwell from Port Dover in Ontario. He’s been playing lottery games for as long as he can remember. He also had a great amount of luck in the June 18 Lotto Max draw.

Earlier this year he had a wonderful dream that he’d won the lottery. Just six weeks later that dream became true as he won $500,000. “I thought, holy geeze, my dream came true,” said the Lotto Max winner as he collected his winnings in Toronto.

Change of Numbers

Did his dream include changing the numbers he uses? Usually, his selection includes numbers that are significant to him. This time though he purchased a Quick Pick ticket and it won him $500,000.

The 52-year-old now plans to use his Lotto Max prize to pay some bills and make some investments. Also planned is to buy a brand new car.
