Double Postcode Lottery Success for Kent

It’s been a big week for Postcode Lottery players in Kent in England 1,400 residents in Deal shared  £11.2 million with one lucky player winning £784,834. There were more wins in the town of Gillingham.

The real deal

Judy and Scott are celebrating a £392,417 Postcode Lottery win. It’s a win that wouldn’t have happened 20 months ago. In 2022 they were living in Hartley but then moved to Deal “on a whim.” They’ve settled in well and even before this win thanks to their new postcode they say it’s been a great move for them.

That’s despite their new home having problems with a leaky roof and a dodgy boiler. They’d been told that their boiler was “on its last legs” but now the couple can afford to buy a new one.

Judy is a massive fan of Elvis Presley and the couple are now planning a trip to America. It’s unlikely they’ll stay in a ‘Heartbreak Hotel’ though. Trips to Memphis, New Orleans and Nashville are her dream destinations, while Scott wants to go to Alaska.

They might also take their 19-year-old son Kody and his girlfriend Sophie stateside. A holiday in Florida is the plan.

October was certainly a great month to play the Postcode Lottery in Kent. One player in Gilllingham won a £60,000 prize with four others scooping £30,000,

Posh new kettle

One of the £30,000 winners was Justine who had an unlikely answer when asked what she wanted to buy with her winnings. “I want a posh new kettle. A nice Dualit one to match my toaster,” said the Postcode Lottery winner.

Once that’s purchased, some of her winnings will be used to help her daughter who recently got engaged. They’ll be given some cash to set up home.

Also winning £30,000 was regular player Tracey who hadn’t heard of her win. The puzzled player had  no idea why the Postcode Lottery team wasn't knocking on her door. Then they did and now the lucky winner is looking forward to a special family Christmas and a helicopter ride.
