Christmas Comes Early for £166,666 Postcode Lottery Winners

Angela Lister from Mexborough in South Yorkshire is off to Lapland for Christmas. That amazing trip will happen after a £166,666 Postcode Lottery win.

The lucky player is married to Duane and between them they have 12 children and two grandchildren. A bit of extra money before Christmas is therefore greatly appreciated.

Lovely Christmas

It’ll be the three youngest children who will be going with their parents to Lapland next month. “The kids are going to love to see Santa’s place,” said the Postcode Lottery winner.  No wonder her husband says: “It will be a lovely Christmas now. A Christmas to remember."

Also winning a £166,666 Postcode Lottery prize is Lindsey. Christmas is already special for her as she was born in the week leading up to the big day. “I just love Christmas. I love the nostalgia of it,” said the delighted winner.

Last year,  a woman from Scotland nicknamed ‘Mrs Christmas’ won a £66,666 Postcode Lottery prize.

The Postcode Lottery winner added: “I have so many fond memories of Christmas as a child, and I want my three boys to have the same feeling.”

Big Santa (or two) coming

Her shopping list includes new ornaments and something her neighbours can enjoy. That’s going to be a Big Santa that dances and sings. There are a couple Lindsey has her eye on and after this win she says: “I might just have to buy both.”

Liam is married to her and is used to his wife’s love of Christmas. He joked that if she could, “the £166.666 would be spent on Christmas.”

That won’t happen though and a trip to Benidorm to visit a four-star medieval-themed Magic Robin Hood resort is being planned for 2025. 

Another £166.666 winner is Tracey who had already been celebrating. Recently she became a grandmother for the second time. Her Christmas tree is now going to be put up and a holiday is also planned. It won’t be in Lapland though. Tracey wants to go somewhere warm with her fiancé Simon.
