Birthday Joy as student Wins $1 million Australian Lotto prize

We all hope for something special on our birthday. Well that’s exactly what happened to a female student from Cambratta in Sydney. She won a $1 million Australian Lotto prize on her birthday. Her win came in the November 4 Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw.

The student has asked to remain anonymous but has spoken about her fantastic win. It was the day after the draw that The Lott contacted with confirmation that she had won $1 million. “It’s just amazing! It’s just so good,” she said.

No more Daydreaming

The lucky winner admitted that she often finds herself “daydreaming about how good it would be to win.” She has no need to do that now after winning the $1 million windfall. The student says she only plays the Australian Lotto “every now and then.” With her birthday just a couple of days away, she decided to buy a ticket but declared that she “didn’t think much of it.” 

On the night of her birthday, she was enjoying a meal with her boyfriend. He joked that he’d treat her to the best birthday weekend ever if he won the Australian Powerball jackpot. He reminded her that she’d enter the Australian Lotto draw so should check her ticket. That’s what she did and couldn’t believe it when realizing she was a big winner. Her winning numbers were 01-14-18-20-27 and the supplementary numbers 04 and 15.

Property Plans

A sleepless night followed, and she woke up the next day with a headache. “But it’s worth it,” she joked. Her plans for the $1 million prize include investing in a property for her to move into and live there with her boyfriend.
