AUSTRIAN TICKETHOLDER BAGS OVER £40 MILLION EUROMILLIONS JACKPOT
The EuroMillions jackpot was barely given the chance to grow after its last winner, as it was won by one single ticketholder two nights ago.One ticket holder from Austria will have had a huge smile of their face as they bagged the entire £43.5 million jackpot thanks to Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw. The winning numbers from the midweek draw were 11, 34, 47, 4 and 7 and the Lucky Stars were 7 and 8.The jackpot was only able to roll over five times since the last time it was won in July, and players might have been expecting it to roll on for a little longer than three weeks. The EuroMillions lottery is famed for its large jackpots and continuous rollovers, although it has now been over two months since the jackpot was last over £100 million.Back on June 13th 2014 one player matched all of the necessary numbers to win £109,589,905, but since then the jackpot hadn’t reached higher than £53.75 million. Tuesday’s lottery jackpot, however, was the highest since that £50 million prize back in July, and will certainly seem large enough to the mystery Austrian winner. As well as the huge jackpot prize winner, Tuesday’s EuroMillions draw also saw five players across Europe celebrate winning second tier prizes. These players each matched all of the five main numbers and just one out of the two lucky stars to take home prize funds worth £157,766 each.Meanwhile, there were 11 ticket holders who found themselves £23,904 richer after finding that their tickets matched only the five main numbers, missing both of the Lucky Stars that were drawn in Paris. There were more than 100,000 other consolation prize winners who took home between £2,480 and £2.90 depending on how many numbers they matched in the lottery draw.As well as these winners, of course, there was one lucky UK player who found themselves a winner on Tuesday after matching the EuroMillions Millionaire Raffle number, bagging the guaranteed millionaire maker prize that is on offer for every draw. Friday’s EuroMillions draw will be worth £11 million.Give yourself a chance to win by playing now at Lottery24.com.
